Land Clearing Services
Land clearing services from Reclaim Land Services cover everything from a half-acre building lot choked with brush to wooded acreage that needs trails, fence lines or fields opened up. Based in West Alexandria and working across the Dayton area, our experienced crew uses a forestry mulcher, tracked skid steers and a dozer to clear underbrush, invasive honeysuckle and standing trees while leaving the ground stable and ready for the next step.
Most of our clearing work falls into a handful of jobs: clearing to build, cutting trails through timber, removing bush honeysuckle and other invasives, opening driveways and access lanes, and bush hogging fields that have gone to weeds. Residential lots, farms, parks, schools and community land all get the same approach: walk it first, agree on exactly what stays and what goes, then get to work.
Land Clearing Services We Provide
Forestry Mulching
A mulcher head on a tracked skid steer grinds brush, saplings and small trees where they stand, leaving a layer of mulch that protects the soil. No burn piles, no hauling, minimal ground disturbance.
Clearing to Build
Trees, stumps, brush and topsoil stripped or saved as needed, so the builder shows up to a lot that is ready for the pad. Pairs with our site development work.
Trails and Access Lanes
Walking, riding and equipment trails cut through woods for private land, parks and camps, sized for the traffic they will carry.
Honeysuckle and Invasive Removal
Bush honeysuckle, autumn olive and multiflora rose mulched and managed so native trees and understory come back.
Driveway and Lane Clearing
Route cleared, roots and stumps handled, base prepared for gravel or paving.
Bush Hogging
Fields, pastures and lot edges that have gone to weeds, mowed back with a tractor and rotary cutter.
Mulch It or Remove It
Forestry mulching is the right answer for most brush and small-tree clearing. It is fast, it leaves the soil covered, and there is nothing to burn or haul. Where the land will be built on or planted, we remove material instead, take out the stumps with our stump removal equipment and rough grade the surface. Rodney's agronomy background guides which trees and soil stay put, especially on land that will be managed as woods afterward.
Parks, schools and community groups often need selective clearing that keeps mature trees and opens up sightlines. We walk those sites with the people responsible for them and mark everything before a machine starts.

What can you clear?
Underbrush, honeysuckle and other invasives, saplings, standing trees, fence rows and overgrown fields. Very large timber is evaluated on site.
Do you clear lots for new homes?
Yes. Clearing to build is one of our most common jobs, usually followed by stump removal, rough grading and the building pad.
What happens to the debris?
Mulched material stays on site as ground cover unless you want it hauled. Removed trees and stumps can be piled, hauled or processed depending on the plan.
Do you work with parks, schools and HOAs?
We do. Trail clearing, invasive control and site prep for public and community land are a regular part of the schedule.
