Site Development & Preparation Services
Site development is the stretch of work between raw ground and the day the builder, paver or seed truck arrives. Reclaim Land Services handles that stretch for homeowners, builders and organizations across the Dayton area: clearing and stripping, cutting and filling, building pads, gravel driveways, parking lot base, drainage and the finished topsoil layer for new lawns.
Because the same reliable crew does the clearing, the dirt work and the finish, the site never sits waiting on a second contractor. Rodney Creech has spent more than twenty years in site preparation through Site Development Group and now Reclaim, on projects from single homesites to neighborhood lots, parks and small commercial ground.

Building Pads
Stripped, cut, filled and compacted to the builder's elevation, so the foundation crew has a level, stable pad to work from.
Gravel Driveways and Lanes
Route cleared, subgrade shaped for drainage, stone placed and compacted in lifts. Long rural drives are a specialty.
Parking Lots and Base Prep
Subgrade and aggregate base for gravel or paved parking at churches, parks, shops and small commercial sites.
New Lawns and Finish Grading
Rough grade, positive drainage away from structures, then blended topsoil spread and finished for seed or sod.
Neighborhood and Multi-Lot Prep
Clearing, grading and drainage across several lots at once, coordinated with the builder's schedule.
Drainage Built In
Swales, culverts and French drains planned during site prep instead of added after the first flood.
Getting the Ground Right Before Anyone Builds On It
Good site prep is mostly about water and compaction. Ground that slopes toward the house or a pad that settles unevenly costs far more to fix after the fact. We shape every site so water leaves the way it should, and fill goes down in compacted lifts, and we use laser-guided grading where elevation matters.
If the lot is still wooded, we start with land clearing and stump removal, then move straight into dirt work with the same machines. Spoils that cannot be used on site go out on our own dump truck.

What site prep do you do before a build?
Clearing, stump removal, stripping and stockpiling topsoil, cut and fill, compacted building pads, driveway and utility routes, and drainage.
Can you put in a gravel driveway or a building pad on its own?
Yes. Many projects are just the driveway or just the pad; you do not need to hire us for the whole site.
Do you handle new lawns and finish grading?
We do, using our own blended topsoil, so the lawn has proper soil depth to root into.
Do you work with builders?
Regularly. We coordinate elevations and timing with the builder or the site plan and keep them updated as the work progresses.
