Grading & Leveling Services
Land grading services fix the two problems almost every property has somewhere: water that sits where it should not, and ground too rough or uneven to mow, seed or build on. Reclaim Land Services offers precise laser grading, lot grading and yard leveling for homeowners, farms, parks and job sites across the Dayton area, working out of West Alexandria.
Grading is where Rodney Creech's lawn health background pays off. A lawn only fills in evenly when the ground under it drains and has consistent soil depth, so we grade for water first, then finish with our own blended topsoil when the project calls for a new lawn.

Laser Grading

Grading for Drainage, Lawns and Build Sites
Standing water near a foundation, a soggy back corner or a lawn that scalps every time you mow all trace back to grade. We look at where water enters the property, where it needs to go and what is in the way, then cut and fill until the surface does the work on its own. Where regrading alone will not solve it, we add a French drain or drain tile.
On build sites we grade to the plan elevations with laser control, coordinate with the builder and leave the pad, drive and lawn areas ready for the next trade. Excess material is hauled off by our own truck.

Grading Questions
What is laser grading?
Grading with equipment guided by a rotating laser, so the finished surface holds an exact elevation or slope across the whole area. It is used for pads, sports fields, arenas and lawns where a uniform grade matters.
Can grading fix standing water in my yard?
Usually. Most wet spots are low areas or slopes that run the wrong way. Regrading solves many of them; the rest get a drain added while we are there.
Do you level yards for new lawns?
Yes. We level, add blended topsoil and finish grade, so the lawn can be seeded or sodded right away.
Will grading damage my existing lawn?
Grading is done where the surface needs to change, so those areas are re-seeded. We keep equipment off areas that are staying.
